3 on 3 Basketball is the fastest growing version of the game in the World! With the addition of 3v3 in the summer Olympic games, people around the globe are catching on to how exciting and fast paced this sport is. At the Larry Hughes Basketball Academy we have teamed up with the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA to create a dynamic 3v3 league that is focused on player development. All players register as an individual and are placed onto age/skill appropriate teams to create balanced teams to make every game as competitive as possible. Week 1 will start with drills to determine team placements, we will go over the 3x3 rules and then will start with the first league games that night. Each subsequent week the teams will get multiple games with 1 champion crowned at the end! Our goal is to provide each athlete the opportunity to grow as an individual athlete, developing their basketball IQ and promoting their growth on the court. 3v3 is a great opportunity for athletes to learn how to space the floor on both offense and defense while having more opportunities for touches on the basketball.
